Columbus Day
A holiday in honor of Christopher Columbus arrival to America on October 12th, 1492. For some reason, it is celebrated on the second Monday of October. That makes zero sense.
Day of the Dead
A Mexican holiday honoring the dead on the day after Halloween. Also a 1985 George Romero zombie film.
Easter
A holiday about bunnies, eggs, chocolate, and Jesus. It occurs on a Sunday, though the exact date changes every year, so nobody can figure out when to celebrate it without resorting to a calendar.
Groundhogs Day
A holiday celebrated on February 2nd, in which a groundhog decides if winter will drag on. More importantly, it is a Bill Murray movie in which a guy experiences the same day over and over again.
